CIRKAY uses NFT and blockchain technologies to create evolving content experiences for brands with followers and fans. You can find out more at pushentertainment.com and cirkay.com.
Eluvio is the blockchain that powers CIRKAY. Eluvio’s patented Content Fabric stores content directly on the blockchain, making it an efficient and secure way to distribute and access content.
Your Fan Pass is a unique type of Utility NFT programmed to grant access to content which is stored directly on the Blockchain. It’s different from the more common type of NFT which points to a particular piece of insecure content on the internet.
The Fan Pass is not currently on the Ethereum mainnet, it is not intended to be traded and it is therefore not a speculative investment. This is not about making a quick buck, but about fans getting closer to the content you want.
However, since the Fan Pass is based on the same underlying technology (ERC-721) as other NFTs, it does open the door to using it as an NFT profile picture for other services outside CIRKAY.
You need to create an Eluvio Media Wallet to view the Fan Pass. Once your wallet is created, you can log in to access your Fan Pass on the uDiscover website.
A Media Wallet allows you to access the content associated with your Fan Pass. It is not a currency wallet and therefore does not hold cryptocurrency.
You can only store Eluvio NFTs in your Media Wallet.
The Eluvio media wallet is not a cryptocurrency wallet. It is not possible to store currency in your Media Wallet, do not send funds to your wallet address.
Your Eluvio Media Wallet address is a unique combination of letters and numbers, you can find it by clicking on the wallet icon at the top right of the page after logging in. You can use your wallet address to identify your wallet.
The uDiscover Music Fan Pass is not currently transferable.
When you sign up for an Eluvio Media Wallet, your login details are associated with a Media Wallet address. If you use a MetaMask Wallet to sign up for your account, a Media Wallet address will still be created. The Fan Pass is accessible only via the Eluvio Media Wallet and you will log in using your email and password or Metamask Wallet.
You can connect your MetaMask wallet to access your Eluvio Media Wallet. The Fan Pass is stored in your Media Wallet, not your MetaMask wallet.
The first edition of the Fan Pass is not eligible for resale.
The Fan Pass is created on the Eluvio Blockchain, a low impact content fabric that uses blockchain storage to hold fragments of content rather than large ‘bandwidth heavy’ files. This means that there are no gas fees and we can offer a great high quality video and audio experience.
Unlike the ‘proof of work’ blockchains which have a reputation for being energy inefficient, Eluvio is a ‘proof of authority’ Blockchain which uses a fraction of the processing power to deliver content.
So in context, minting 1 NFT on the Eluvio blockchain uses 1/500th of the CPU power of watching an hour on Netflix. That equates to 0.2g of CO2. Compare this to posting a photo on Instagram which emits 0.15g of CO2, and scrolling your Instagram feed for 1 minute emits 1.5g of CO2.
